Rated 5 out of 5 by from Given new life to archery/bowhunting! After battling shoulder issues I thought I was done. The BTX had such a smooth draw cycle, and back wall it gave me new life. Quiet, fast, I do love it! Best bow I've ever had!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowtech BTX-31 exploded I bought the bowtech btx-31 brand new from Island Archer located in Honolulu, HI. I had it setup and everything installed and when I proceeded to shoot it, the limbs exploded on the third shot. I returned the bow and the owner stated that she will give me a new one from the back. She grabbed the box and opened it and that bows limbs were already cracked. She gave me a full refund and I now shoot an Obsession Defcon 6 and will probably never go back due to my experience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems like a great bow, but..... With all the stories of limb failures I can't help but wonder, is this thing going to break on me in the middle of an out of state hunt. I got this bow from bowtech in October to replace a rpm360 that was having limb issues. As far as service goes it doesn't get much better than that. So far I've only put about 50 shots through it. As far as shootability, speed, vibration, etc, I feel it's definitely worthy of 5 stars all the way around. The factory strings are however, junk! With the few amount of shots I've put through it, there is already major serving separation. As great of a bow as this is, I can't get the limb issues out of the back of my mind. Hopefully the local obsession dealer will make a fair trade with me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful bow, no complaints! Excellent bow and performance! Regretfully I haven't shot this bow enough nor have I put any meat on the ground....yet. Lucky for me I will soon be in a location where I an use it more. Previous to owning this bow I shot a Hoyt Razertech which was much older to include the technology. When I purchased this bow I was amazed at the difference in performance and overall weight. Very satisfied with my purchase! Great bow and I've had zero issues with the limbs. Thanks for listening to your customers/audience and developing this bow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great bow I am a senior hunter that was having trouble drawing and holding my carbon knight do to bad shoulders and consider going with a crossbow. My bow shop told me about the BTX31 , so I shot one they had in stock and had no problem shooting in the comfort setting. I special ordered one in the color I wanted and they set it up at 55# in the comfort setting and it's shooting at almost 300ft per second . Past hunting season no deer yet but killed 3 hogs and a coyote. Great Bow !Thanks Rick C. East Texas

Rated 2 out of 5 by from first I bought this from my local proshop. Really enjoyed the feel and speed of the bow and got it set up immediately after shooting at the shop. However after shooting about 2 dozen arrows (arrows cut at the shop) I heard a snap and crack on full draw. I immediately relaxed the string back and looked the bow over. Right at the spindle the cam delaminated and popped. Had such high hopes for Bowtech but after passing on a Mathews I think I made a mistake after reading all the failures with Bowtech lately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great rig I wouldn't change anything about the BT-X. Even with the cams set for performance, the draw cycle is very smooth. It is exceptionally quiet, well-balanced, and extremely consistent. I hunt mule deer, white tails, and antelope at home and also spring bear in Alaska most years. I really value the ability to time cams and make many other adjustments without a press.I don't shoot leagues, but I do shoot a few arrows every day, from 20 to 120 yards and have complete confidence in my bow. I've shot several thousand arrows through this bow, I'm on my second set of strings, and I still have no desire to shoot any other bow out there.I'll be shooting this rig for awhile. When I retire this one, I'll stick with Bowtech as long as they continue to print their principles on every box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this bow really satisfied I have had this bow since October 2016. It has been a very satisfying experience. I love the looks. I love the handling. I love the tunablity. Very power. Very fast. Very quite and dead in hand. Quality bow. It is a little heavy and the grip shelf wants to sink into my palm area after a few shots causing the arrow fletch to hit my finger. But it could just be my need to continue to practice. The only other bow I would consider would be a bowtech carbon bow if it had a thinner grip like the BTX.
