My wife received this bow as a gift and she is absolutely in love. She is smaller framed (5’2 125lbs) and she shoots at 50lb draw and this bow just preforms! I recently upgraded from the Bowtech Instigator to the Eva Gen 2 and WOW. I was honestly dead set on getting a Mathews but after shooting this bow there was no denying I had to have it. It is SO forgiving - I have always struggled with accuracy and this bow really does wonders for me. The draw cycle is honestly what sold me on it though. I went from barely being able to pull 43 lbs on my Instigator to being able to pull back 55 lbs on my Eva! Absolute butter. I shot the Hoyt Eclipse at the same time as this one and the Eva made the Hoyt feel like a cheap toy. If you are debating- just buy it. You will NOT regret it.
I've been shooting for 10 years. Got my first compound bow last year and just upgraded to the Eva Shockey, WOW what a huge difference. I love everything about it, quick, quiet, light and super accurate. Excited to use it in the woods, we are heading out today for our Archery Season.
I am so pleased with my Eva. It is my third bow. My fist was a diamond razor edge and I loved that bow. I got good grouping but nothing like the amazing grouping I’m getting with the Eva. Thank you Bowtech for being my go too bow.
