For the archer wanting compact maneuverability, combined with maximum stability and easy accuracy, the CP30 is the only choice. The strategically designed DeadLock Cam System is optimized in size to mimic longer axle-to-axle bow stability at full draw while remaining compact for maneuverability in the tightest quarters. Top it off with an insanely smooth draw that feels like it can be held for days on end. The CP30. The only thing this bow is short on is its size.
I bought 2 of these bows I’ve been shooting them for about 6 months now, and I’m impressed shooting golf ball size groups all the way out to 50yds quite dead in the hand running a 450 grain gold tip black label quantum 300 spine at 72lbs and 28in draw it’s shooting 285 it’s crazy best bow I have shot hands down in a while..!!!!
So I've had this bow for around 4 months. I'm out of season for hunting so this is purely a target shooting review.
Real speeds using a 473 grain arrow- 283 fps
Running black eagle Spartans, 100 grain points, 250 spine, .001"
30.5" draw, maxed out at 71.2lbs pull.
Flip disc set to performance.
I equipped the bow with a trophy ridge react sight, quiver, wrist sling, both orbits, and a stinger stabilizer.
If you like a smooth shooting, litterslly throw it together and take 10 minutes to tune until it's right and 10 minutes of practice to zero 20-50 yards this is probably the easiest set up you could ever have. The whole thing screams end user friendly.
I will say this is my first modern compound and has been a huge upgrade from I was using which was a browning maxim bow, with that I will say that I shot hoyts, mathews, and bear compounds and I chose this bow easily based on price and feel not the name.
Not as dead as a matthews but we are talking 99.9 percent the same, several hundreds of dollars less at the pro shop, no bow press if I change arrows, no weird parts to order, just some hex wrenches.
My set up at arrow weight and speed will kill deer, elk, maybe moose but they aren't on my list to hit. I feel confident with it, I group great, I shoot consistently, and I can shoot 100-200 arrows in a practice session without issue. Mind you I'm an industrial millwright so I turn big wrenches all day so your mileage will vary with the numbers I quote here, but I've had friends who were normal dudes Pull it back and let an arrow go just to feel it and they were very impressed with overall performance of the thing.
It's a great bow, I have no complaints, easy tune, easy set up, easy build, good speed, great repeatability of shot, extremely consistent shot speed, great break in cycle with zero timing issues at 300 shots.
You will not be disappointed if you want to purchase this bow. I took a big leap into the realm of archery with this, and I plan to hit some tags with it come this fall.
In the past I had Hoyt bows, but as soon as the Revolt came out it changed everything. I shot the CP 30 at SunRise Archery, Fenton, MI and I was amazed. It is the best bow i have ever shot. Very smooth draw (comfort) setting. Having a solid back wall was always my issue and BowTech has solved that problem for me. I honestly will shoot a Bowtech for the rest of my hunting career. Thanks....
I own two Matthews bows and the cp30 BowTech I just bought is by far the best feeling most accurate bow I've ever owned first 3 shots stacked up tight enough that I had pull them together. Super smooth draw cycle I would recommend it to anyone. Great bow!!
I just purchased this bow today from a local shop. I shot multiple different flag ship bows and the cp30 was the best fit for me. It has a very smooth draw, great back wall, and little to no vibration after shot. I can’t wait to spend more time shooting it! Five stars so far!
