Lighter bows can be great for mobility while adding weight or dampeners can virtually eliminate vibration.
Compound bows have an adjustable draw length range and should be set to fit your unique body size and shape.
Max draw weights can typically be reduced by 10lbs. This provides comfortable draw cycles for everyone while maximizing energy.
Today’s average bow speeds offer more forgiveness on the shot than ever. Faster bows can deliver more downrange energy.
Longer bows can increase stability while shorter bows can be better suited for maneuverability and tight spaces.
A longer brace height can offer more forgiveness on the shot while a shorter brace height can make a fast bow even faster.

I hadn't picked up a bow in 30 plus years and even then I only shot for a couple months. Bought this Guardian in January from Bowtech in Eugene. (For a great price too). This bow is smooth and very accurate! I have a more expensive Hoyt Ventum that has about the same performance and I prefer the Guardian hands down!
I also appreciate what the bow stands for. Good job Bowtech! You have a return customer for life.
First, let me say that this is great what this bow stands for! Thanks to all that serve or have served in our armed forces!
As for the bow. It is very smooth with a nice solid wall. It’s shooter friendly even for someone like me that has a 31” long draw length. It has great speed and no shock after the shock. Another solid bow by Bowtech!!
I had been eyeballing this bow for over a year from the first time my Bowtech dealer got them in stock. It took me ages to buy it but once I did, I fell in love. The fact that the proceeds went to veteran charities made the decision that much easier when the time came to buy. My only regret is not buying one sooner so I could have gotten a 70lbs instead of a 60lbs, but that's my fault for taking so long to buy it!
I purchased the Guardian last year (2020) I was able to harvest my first deer the same year and my first elk this year. It's been a great bow. Shoots flawlessly everytime in all conditions. I really like the fact that proceeds go to Vets and first responders, that's what sold me on that bow in specific over other Bowtech models. The fact that Bowtech is 40 minutes away is a bonus as well. A+
I've owned several Bowtechs over the years, and the Guardian is by far my favorite. The short axle to axle length is perfect for trees and hunting, and yet it goes to my draw length, 31", which is a game changer. My favorite thing about the Guardian, is what it stands for. Being a combat veteran I applaud you and thank you for standing behind us. PTSD is a silent killer, and I thank you for shining light on this issue. Bowtechs you nailed it all around with this bow and the thoughts behind it. Thank you!!
