TIM GILLINGHAM GOES 2 IN-A-ROW IN USAT

Tim Gillingham not only puts the hammer down in 3D, but he also shows who’s boss in FITA style shooting. This weekend at the USAT Arizona Cup, Tim took the Gold Medal in the Masters Class for the 2nd year in a row! FITA style shooting not only tests archer’s skills but also their ability to play the wind, often a make-or-break factor. Tim’s often ridiculed “shoot-on-command” style shooting is perfectly at home here and his titles after titles prove it. Tim’s a beast indoors and out and there’s more to come in 2022.

After sealing the deal on the victory, Tim Gillingham shared: “More and more Bowtech bows are showing up at the premiere events in archery. The podium is hard to achieve and there’s nothing like having my Reckoning 38 to get me to the top!”

“Tim literally just won his 2nd ASA tournament and flew straight to this USAT event to do it again. It’s amazing how Tim continues to stay in top form with an otherwise exhausting schedule.” said Todd Snader, Brand and Shooting Staff Manager. “Tim makes us proud everywhere he goes and in everything he does for the sport. PAIGE PEARCE WINS 2 IN-A-ROW

Hot off a major victory at the ASA event in Foley, Bowtech Pro Shooter Paige Pearce was looking to do it again. Bowtech is proud to share she did just that! Paige hit the course and was gunning for the 12-ring and ended day 1 in the first place by 12 points. On day 2 she didn’t let off and opened up her lead to win by 16 points in the Women’s Known 50 division. With this win, Paige once again showed she is a force to be reckoned with in the ASA, by also breaking the female score record on day 2.

After her stellar performance, Paige Pearce shared: “This weekend I shot insanely well with 16 up the first day and 34 up the second day! Apparently, 34 up is a record in the women’s division, and I was super excited to be able to break records after my second ASA event! There’s no way I could have scored that well if my Reckoning 38 hadn’t been so forgiving! It’s all about finding the forgiveness in your setup to perform under pressure, and thankfully I found that in this bow!”

“The Women’s Known 50 class has some tough competitors, and it’s growing significantly. Paige has been instrumental in getting this class where it is today, all while showing how hard work pays off.” said Todd Snader, Bowtech Brand and Shooting Staff Manager. “Knowing that level of hard work she puts in, ensuring she is competing at the highest level, it is no surprise she ended where she did. Congratulations to Paige, a true ambassador in the sport.”

Paige is next headed to the USAT Arizona Cup. There she is looking to defend her 2021 title and make it 3 in a row for 2022.

TIM GILLINGHAM WINS BACK-TO-BACK

Once again Bowtech Pro Shooter Tim Gillingham took the top spot on the podium! Bowtech Archery is excited to share that Tim Gillingham took his 2nd title on the 2022 ASA tournament trail by winning the Men’s Senior Pro division in Russell County, AL. This victory is 2 in-a-row for Tim, who is always in his element shooting 3-D events. Going into his final shot, Tim set his sight on the 14-ring and put the hammer stamp on another pro shoot-down victory.

After the victory, Tim Gillingham shared: “ I had to make some point weight adjustments on Saturday night and the simplicity of the Deadlock cam’s tuning made it quick work to get everything dialed back in and hammering. These Bowtech bows make the equipment side of being a top-level professional archer easy!”

“I followed Tim’s progress all weekend long. After his first day, his peer group consisted of some fellow pros with a lot of victories under their belt,” said Todd Snader, Brand and Shooting Staff Manager. “That didn’t sway Tim though, ending the day 9 points up. On day 2, I was in awe as that lead opened up and he didn’t look back. Congratulations to Tim on another well-deserved win.”

PAIGE PEARCE SHOOTS A PERFECT 600

This past weekend was the second stop on the NFAA 3-Star Tour in Louisville, KY. Bowtech Archery is excited to share that Paige Pearce was one of only 3 female pro archers to shoot a perfect 600 with 120 x’s, a first-ever for the Female Pro division. Additionally, in an exciting shoot-off event Paige narrowly missed the top spot on the podium and brought home the Silver Medal. With this silver medal, Paige has made 3 in-a-row appearances on the podium and continues to show she is one of the major forces in professional archery today.

“We knew Paige was a little under the weather heading to this event, and our fingers were crossed she would be feeling better. In true Paige Pearce fashion, she put it all aside and dug deep.” said Todd Snader, Bowtech Brand and Shooting Staff Manager. “This goes to show the effort she puts into her performance, even in less-than-optimal conditions. She continues to amaze us and couldn’t make us prouder on a daily basis.”

Paige will make her next appearance at the ASA Pro-Am in Russell County, AL. Paige won the 2022 kick-off event and is ready to do it again. Stay tuned for more.

TIM GILLINGHAM WINS 2022 ASA FOLEY

Bowtech Archery is pleased to announce that once again, Tim Gillingham is off to a winning start in the ASA circuit. This past weekend was the first leg of the 2022 tour in Foley, AL and Tim won in dominating fashion. Always in his element on the 3D circuits, Tim led the way after day 1 and didn’t look back. In the final shootdown, his fellow competitors watched as Tim pulled away. Going into his final shot, which was not needed due to his lead, Tim went for it all and hammered a 14 in front of the roaring crowd.

When asked about the tournament, Tim Gillingham said: “ I had to make some point weight adjustments on Saturday night and the simplicity of the Deadlock cam’s tuning made it quick work to get everything dialed back in and hammering. PAIGE PEARCE WINS 2022 ASA FOLEY PRO-AM

The 2022 ASA Pro-AM season is underway. Bowtech Archery is excited to share that Paige Pearce took the top spot in the Women’s Known 50 class at the kickoff event in Foley, AL. Well, known as one of the number one target archers in the world, Paige has focused primarily on indoor target and outdoor fita shooting. With the introduction of the Women’s Known 50 class into the ASA, it has drawn more target-oriented female pros to participate in the 3D pro division. We are excited to continue to see Paige’s winning performance in the growing division.

When asked about the tournament, Paige Pearce shared: “This was my first ASA after deciding to include it in my tournament schedule for the year, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! The challenging part of this format is the fact there are no dots to aim at, so you really need to know the targets, and then you are trying to shoot a small 12-ring that sits on the edge of the 10-ring rather than on the middle. It’s very different than what I am used to doing, but thankfully my Reckoning 38 was incredibly forging throughout the weekend and helped me land on the top of the podium!”

“Paige winning the kickoff ASA event shows how well she adapts to different types of competitive archery,” said Todd Snader, Bowtech Brand and Shooting Staff Manager. “Making the switch back and forth isn’t easy, but Paige puts in the work to stay on top and we are proud that she is a member of our Bowtech Family.”
