“Many of the quality features of recent Bowtech bows are in the BT-X, including last year’s revolutionary PowerShift Technology, OverDrive Binary Cams, FLX-Guard, and CarbonCore Limbs. New for 2016 is the MicroSync Dial, which allows a shooter to precisely time cam position without a bow press.”
They also created a video on their Facebook about the BT-X
Bowtech just keeps pumping out cool innovations. Last year, it was Powershift Technology; this year is the Micro Sync Dial, which lets you fine-tune the timing of the draw stops with the turn of an Allen wrench. Very cool. The BT-X also has a new, stronger riser to handle the 350-IBO speed. #bowshow2016 —WB

Field & Stream’s Dave Hurteau Covers the Katana 385
Stryker Katana 385The latest in a string of high-quality crossbows from Stryker, the Katana puts together the kind of specs that make for a great hunting crossbow. It’s easy to draw, pleasant to shoot, and is more than fast enough. Like the Excalibur’s trigger, this one breaks cleanly at 2.5 pounds. The safety does not engage automatically when the bow is cocked, but that allows you to de-cock the bow with just the rope cocker. —DH #BowShow2016 385 fps16-3/8 ATA when cocked155-pound draw13-inch power stroke6.5 pounds$1,149

The Stryker Offspring was featured head-to-toe in the January issue of Horizontal Bowhunter.
For 2016, we have launched new ads for Bowtech, Diamond, Stryker and Excalibur that bring a fresh look and message for each brand. These new ads will establish dominance in the market, and focus on the powerful stance of each brand.
Bowtech focuses on our superior cam technology and our desire to lead the industry. Our “Refuse to Follow” message is something our consumers relate to, and we should all pursue in the workplace. This new ad will be featured in the following publications: Inside Archery, Peterson’s Bowhunting, Bowhunting, and Bowhunting World.
Our Diamond print ad presents the all new Deploy SB. A first ever for the Diamond brand, we showcase the addition of the Binary Cam system in a product that is “Lightweight, with Heavy Impact”. Diamond is rapidly becoming one of the main players in the archery world with this advanced technology. The Diamond ad will be in the next issues of: Field and Stream, Whitetail Journal, and Outdoor Life.
Excalibur’s 2016 advertising drives the message of simple design and rugged durability. Time and time again, the Excalibur brand has proven it is reliable and trustworthy. The new Excalibur ad can be found in publications: Peterson’s Hunting 2016 Gear Guide, and Horizontal Bowhunter.
Crossbow consumers are often forced to make some type of compromise in their products, whether it be durability, comfort, accuracy, or weight. With Stryker, you get the best of everything. They will “Never Compromise” again. You will see this as in future publications of: North American Whitetail, Buckmaster, and Horizontal Bowhunter.
In Fall 2015, Bowtech began several initiatives focused on supporting archery at the semi-pro, amateur and youth levels. Among these programs are the re-launch of the Team Bowtech shooting staff, as well as a youth and adult contingency to reward Bowtech shooters for both participation and success.
The new Team Bowtech will staff up to 60 competitive adult shooters and 20 youth shooters who will serve as Bowtech’s boots on the ground at archery tournaments, events, and in local pro shops throughout the country. The contingency program will be the most expansive of any in the industry, rewarding youth and adult shooters just for shooting Bowtech at competitive events, providing cash payouts for the top Bowtech finisher at events, even if not on the podium, and providing additional merchandise promo codes and gift certificates for podium finishers.
Effective January 26th, 2016, Bowtech has launched a new comprehensive 2016 Competitive Contingency Program.
We will focus on the 3 major competitive organizations, NFAA (National Field Archery Association), ASA (Archery Shooters Association), and IBO (International Bowhunters Organization).
Any competitor who places in the top three while using a Bowtech, Diamond, Stryker or Excalibur product in approved classes at sanctioned national events will qualify for a payout.
In addition to payouts for individual event finishes, the Bowtech program also offers bonuses for multiple top three finishes and for Shooter of the Year designations from the ASA, IBO or NFAA.
The Bowtech contingency program separates itself from other manufacturer-based programs by rewarding youth shooters with ‘Bowtech Bucks’ (redeemable for Bowtech brand products and merchandise).
In order to be eligible for a payout, participants must register at the Bowtech booth on location before an event, must shoot a Bowtech, Diamond, Stryker, or Excalibur bow throughout the competition, and must display a brand logo on their shirt on the podium.

The way people are consuming media is ever changing. As social media outlets continue to grow, each new generation is connecting online more and more for information. For a company to be effective in its advertising, and customer service, it must have a continuous online conversation across multiple platforms. It is such an effective communication tool that entire companies have launched using only social media to reach consumers.
Our brands are now listening and responding to our consumers and fans online more than ever. In December of 2015, we ramped up our presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In that first month we added close to three-thousand new followers on the Bowtech Facebook page alone, and we continue to see consistent and steady growth across all brands.
At the ATA Show in January we displayed a large television monitor dedicated to social media posts from all four brands. Those attending the show could contribute by using specific hashtags and see themselves and their posts on that monitor when they came to the booth. It was a huge success! In the first few hours of the show there were several hundred posts about our brands using the dedicated hashtags.
As we begin our journey into 2016, we are building momentum across all of our brands. You can find Bowtech, Bowtech Women, Diamond, Excalibur and Stryker on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
These pages are not about the brands as much as they are about the people who support our brands. That’s why every month we will be doing a bow or crossbow giveaway, along with merchandise and apparel giveaways.
For those of you who use social media, we encourage you to share your Bowtech, Diamond, Excalibur and Stryker moments on all of our social media sites. Find us online and post directly to our pages, or even tag us. And, if you see something on our pages you like, be sure to like and share it. We appreciate your help in letting the world know about our phenomenal products.
