Paige Gore Sets Unofficial World Record!

Bowtech Pro Shooter Paige Gore continues to dominate the indoor stage. She set an unofficial world record at the Indoor World Team Trials over the weekend shooting a 596/600 after a round of 60 arrows. She also set an unofficial national record after a 120-arrow round with a score of 1182/1200. Gore has broken over 110 records in her shooting career, but this is her first as a Senior Pro. She finished the weekend strong earning the top spot on the World Team and the weekend’s high score of the day. She now heads to the World Archery Indoor Championships in February.

The Fanatic 3.0 is the winningest bow in Bowtech’s history.  Around the world top professional archers rely on its tunability, precision and accuracy to put them atop the podium.

Paige battled it out in order to take first place at the Indoor World Cup held in Bangkok, Thailand. Though she has continually dominated in the Outdoor World Events, Indoor is an area that she has been unable to devote much time and effort to. After she experienced an incredibly successful season last year, she set her sights on giving ample focus to the Indoor World Events.

With the world’s best compound archers being present, competition was fierce. With outstanding scores of 145, 146, and 147, she was able to move through the ranks to find herself fighting for the chance of Gold. Finding herself face to face with Sarah Sonnichsen of Denmark, both competitors staid neck and neck until the final x3 arrows. Paige shot a perfect 30 to take the Gold with a final score of 144-143.

“I finally won my first indoor tournament! I still can’t believe it, but I was able to lock up a 1st place finish here in Bangkok at the second Indoor World Cup of the season! This is a huge weight off my back, and I am so excited about the progress I have been making on my indoor game. I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the indoor season.” -Paige Gore

Paige Gore shot the Bowtech Fanatic 3 SD all last year and it continues to be her bow of choice for the 2018 target season.

Bowtech Archery’s Paige Gore continues to deliver impressive performances in target archery, taking silver at the first stage of the 2017-18 Indoor Archery World Cup in Marrakesh, Morrocco over the weekend.

Gore posted a 147 to tie eventual gold medalist Sarah Prieels in the 15-arrow final before dropping the match on the second shoot off. It was Gore’s first Indoor World Cup event and her first international indoor event.

“I’m incredibly happy with my performance this weekend,” Gore said. “I’m looking forward to the second World Cup event in Bangkok in the next few weeks and improving my scores from this week. I’m excited to have my first event complete and to get moving on another season!”

The second stage of the Indoor Archery World Cup takes place in Bangkok, Thailand in early December.
