Bowtech takes top honors in the two major divisions at the Arizona Cup

Three in row for the Reckoning!

A few weeks ago, Paige Pearce dominated the USA Indoor National Championship and NFAA Indoor Nationals with the Bowtech Reckoning. This weekend the Reckoning and Deadlock once again made its superior accuracy known at the hands of Paige in the USA Archery Arizona Cup.

Additionally, Bowtech Pro Shooter, Tim Gillingham brought home silver in the men’s pro division and has also gone 3 in a row podiums with his Bowtech Fanatic 3.0! This includes the ASA Pro Am in Foley AL (1st Place), the inaugural Versus tournament in Mexico (1st place) and now the Arizona cup – Silver Medal

Here is a recap of both Paige and Tim’s performance this weekend:

Paige Pearce:

  • Paige qualified tied for 6th with a 693, solidifying her spot into the elimination rounds.
  • During her elimination rounds, she quickly advanced to the semifinals, defeating three world ranked archers. In the semifinals, Paige tied Lexi Keller with a 143 and went to a one arrow, closest to the middle shoot-off. Paige used her Reckoning and made a perfect shot to win. In the Finals, Paige easily beat Savannah Vanderwier 146 -132 to bring home the gold.

Tim Gillingham:

  • Tim Gillingham qualified 10th and made quick work of his competitors all the way to the Semifinals.
  • In the Finals, Tim took on “Mr Perfect” Mike Schloesser, who is widely known, as his nickname suggests his consistent perfect scores. Tim went arrow for arrow with Mike and took home silver by a mere one point, 148-147.
